Heather Parish began in theatre at the age of 19 at College of the Sequoias. Since then she has been on the production team of over 40 shows, acting in 15 of them.
Most recently, Heather directed Woodward Shakespeare Festival's entry into the Rogue Performance Festival, All's Red that's Riding Hood, an original short play by local playwright Terrence V. Mc Arthur. Heather currently works as a freelance theatrical artist in Central California. With the Woodward Shakespeare Festival she has been a director, lighting designer, and stage manager, as well has spearheaded their first playwrighting competition in 2007. During the 2008 season, Heather is the costume designer for the WSF production of Twelfth Night, director for the staged reading of Henry VIII, and assisting with community outreach. .
With a directorial style marked by elegant but minimal staging and heightened language, she strives for a sense of clarity, immediacy and heightened style in her work.
